My Story
Ashley Gutierrez, MA, LPC-A, NCC (she/her) is a counselor for teens (13+), young adults, adults and couples located in Texas who specializes in working with the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. She believes that therapy should be a dedicated space where you can explore your identity, process life transitions, and build resilience without fear of judgment.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and her practice is deeply rooted in a person-centered humanistic approach. Ashley believes that you are the expert of your own life and her role is to walk alongside you, tailoring her therapeutic style to meet your unique needs and empowering you to live authentically.
Ashley provides accessible, affirming DBT and narrative therapy to individuals, couples, and families, throughout the state of Texas. She also specializes in supporting high-achieving women who are navigating the heavy burdens of perfectionism, religious trauma, OCD, and anxiety. Together, you’ll work to untangle these complex experiences, allowing you to reclaim your narrative and find balance.
Accessibility for all is a cornerstone of her practice. Ashley is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and is deeply passionate about bridging the gap in mental health services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. She is also committed to advocating for reduction of barriers to mental health care for all people regardless of socioeconomic status.
Ashley offers convenient, confidential counseling services via telehealth with day time, evening, and weekend availability. Whether you are seeking to heal from past wounds or trying to navigate a difficult transition, she is here to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for your growth.
