My Story
Hi. I'm Mallori, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dr. Desiree L. Stephens, LPC-S, NCC, TLHL, LMHC, Certified-CCPT. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Victim Studies from Sam Houston State University.

I am passionate about helping women find healing, confidence, and emotional wellness through every stage of life. I am especially passionate about supporting high-achieving African American women who silently carry the weight of high-functioning anxiety, depression, and the pressure to always appear strong.

I also have a special interest in supporting women throughout the perinatal journey, including infertility, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the transition into motherhood. I understand that these seasons can bring immense joy as well as unexpected emotional challenges, and am committed to helping women feel supported every step of the way.

My therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and empowering. I believe healing happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, process difficult experiences, and create lasting emotional well-being.

As a mother of two children, ages three and six, Mallori brings both clinical knowledge and lived experience to her work. Her personal and professional dedication to women's mental health reflects her deep commitment to creating a safe, validating, and empowering space for women in all stages of life.
