Dr. Ashley Carroll-Brown is a licensed psychologist serving individuals in Texas. She received her bachelor of science in psychology from Louisiana State University in 2007 and continued to pursue her doctorate in counseling psychology from Louisiana Tech University, which she completed in 2012. She has been practicing in the mental health field since 2008. 

Dr. Ashley has worked in several clinical settings, including medical centers, crisis care shelters, youth residential group homes, primary care, and counseling practices. In 2022, she founded Guiding Hope Counseling & Consulting, a mental health practice based in Plano, Texas. 

Dr. Ashley has a passion for supporting her clients and is dedicated to helping them improve their mental health, manage anxiety, heal from trauma, and navigate life transitions with resilience and strength. Her work focuses on empowering professional women to develop a healthier mindset and thrive amidst the challenges they face. Her specialty areas include trauma and postpartum challenges for new mothers.

Odette Gonzalez
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Therapist

Odette Gonzalez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master’s in 2010
from The Warden School of Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University in San
Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a specialization in
Criminal Justice from Texas Lutheran University.


Odette’s work in the social work field has led her passion in advocating and
empowering survivors of abuse. She has dedicated her time serving vulnerable
populations in agencies like CASA of San Antonio and The Battered Women’s Shelter.
She has worked in several diverse clinical settings - behavioral hospitals, children’s hospitals and private practice.

Odette is passionate about helping women find hope and healing after life's most difficult experiences. She specializes in working with women who have experienced trauma, abuse, anxiety, and depression, providing a safe, compassionate space where clients can process their experiences without fear of judgment.

Odette believes that while trauma may shape your story, it does not have to define your future. Using a collaborative and trauma-informed approach, she helps clients rebuild self-worth, establish healthy boundaries, develop effective coping skills, and regain a sense of confidence and peace.

Whether you're healing from an unhealthy relationship, recovering from past abuse, or navigating emotional challenges that feel overwhelming, Odette is committed to walking alongside you every step of the way. Her goal is to empower women to move beyond surviving and toward a life marked by resilience, healing, and hope.

Odette considers it a privilege to be part of each client's journey and strives to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and genuine care.


In her free time, she enjoys time with her husband and daughter and their French
bulldog, Zeus. She prioritizes relaxing at the beach, coffee dates with her besties
and quality time with her sisters.

Mallori Thompson
Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate

Mallori Thompson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dr. Desiree L. Stephens, LPC-S, NCC, TLHL, LMHC, Certified-CCPT. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Victim Studies from Sam Houston State University.

Mallori is passionate about helping women find healing, confidence, and emotional wellness through every stage of life. She has a special interest in supporting women throughout the perinatal journey, including infertility, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the transition into motherhood. She understands that these seasons can bring immense joy as well as unexpected emotional challenges, and she is committed to helping women feel supported every step of the way.

In addition to perinatal mental health, Mallori works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-worth concerns, and the effects of domestic violence. She is especially passionate about supporting high-achieving African American women who silently carry the weight of high-functioning anxiety, depression, and the pressure to always appear strong.

Mallori's therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and empowering. She believes healing happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Her goal is to help clients develop practical coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, process difficult experiences, and create lasting emotional well-being.

Mallori considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they discover healing, resilience, and hope while building a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

As a mother of two children, ages three and six, Mallori brings both clinical knowledge and lived experience to her work. Her personal and professional dedication to maternal mental health reflects her deep commitment to creating a safe, validating, and empowering space for women in all stages of motherhood.

Delores Ortiz is a psychology intern and second-year Ph.D. student in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Adler University. With a background in clinical and community psychology, she is passionate about helping individuals and organizations thrive. Her interests include leadership development, psychological safety, workplace well-being, and applying evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for people, workplaces, and communities.
