Appointments That Fit Your Life

Evening and Weekend Therapy Appointments

Most people looking for a therapist are looking around a job, a school schedule, or a household. Therapy should not require you to give up your workday to get it.

01

Why Timing Matters

A therapist can be a perfect fit on paper and still impossible to see if every opening is at two in the afternoon on a Tuesday. For many working adults, parents, students, and shift workers, the hour available is after work, after the kids are asleep, or on a Saturday.

Because every Guiding Hope session is online, there is no commute to add on either side. An evening appointment can start a few minutes after you close your laptop.

02

Who Offers Evening and Weekend Sessions

Janell Goler, LPC-Associate, is our primary evening and weekend clinician. Ashley Gutierrez, LPC-Associate, also offers daytime, evening, and weekend telehealth. She works with teens, young adults, adults, and couples, specializes in LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, and is fluent in American Sign Language.

Openings change as caseloads fill. During your free consultation you can say which times actually work for you, and you will be matched with a clinician whose availability fits.

03

Making After-Hours Therapy Work

Choose a spot where you will not be overheard, even if that is a parked car. Headphones help. If you are joining after a long day, a few minutes of quiet before the session can make it easier to arrive.

Consistency matters more than the time of day. A regular evening slot you can keep is worth more than a daytime slot you keep missing.

04

Costs and Coverage

Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so it is worth confirming your benefits before your first session. If you are out of network, the practice can provide a superbill you may be able to submit for reimbursement.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Are evening and weekend therapy appointments available online?

Yes. Janell Goler is our primary evening and weekend clinician, and Ashley Gutierrez also offers evening and weekend telehealth. All sessions are online.

Do you take insurance?

Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies by plan, and superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.

What happens in the free consultation?

You share a little about what is bringing you in, ask any practical questions, and talk through which clinician may fit. It is a conversation, not a commitment.

What if I am in crisis right now?

Please call 911 if you are in immediate danger, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Guiding Hope offers scheduled outpatient therapy and is not an emergency service.

You Can Begin With a Conversation

A free consultation can help you ask questions, share what you are looking for, and consider whether one of our clinicians feels like a fit.
