01

The Relationship Struggles People Bring

Relationship issues can mean ongoing conflict with a partner, feeling unheard, drifting apart after a baby, difficulty setting boundaries with family, or patterns that keep repeating from one relationship to the next. It can also mean recovering from a relationship that was unhealthy or abusive.

02

Individual Therapy for Relationship Patterns

You do not need your partner or family in the room to work on relationships. Individual therapy can help you understand your own patterns, communicate more clearly, set boundaries, and decide what you want.

Odette Gonzalez helps women who are healing from unhealthy relationships and past abuse rebuild self-worth and establish healthy boundaries. Interpersonal Therapy, one of the approaches used at Guiding Hope, focuses directly on relationships and role changes.

03

Couples Counseling

If you and your partner want to work on things together, couples counseling is available online. Ashley Gutierrez works with couples as well as individuals, bringing an affirming, person-centered approach.

The first step is a free consultation. It is a short conversation where you can say what is going on, ask how online sessions work, and hear which clinician may be the best fit. There is no obligation, and you do not need to have the right words ready.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is therapy for relationship difficulties available online anywhere in Texas?

Yes. Every session at Guiding Hope is held by secure video, and all of our clinicians are licensed in Texas, so you can meet from anywhere in the state.

Do you take insurance?

Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies by plan, and superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.

What happens in the free consultation?

You share a little about what is bringing you in, ask any practical questions, and talk through which clinician may fit. It is a conversation, not a commitment.

What if I am in crisis right now?

Please call 911 if you are in immediate danger, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Guiding Hope offers scheduled outpatient therapy and is not an emergency service.

You Can Begin With a Conversation

A free consultation can help you ask questions, share what you are looking for, and consider whether one of our clinicians feels like a fit.
