01

Why After-Work Sessions Matter

Most people looking for a therapist are looking around a job. Taking an hour off in the middle of the day, plus travel time, is not realistic for many people, especially hourly and shift workers and parents juggling pickups.

02

How Online Therapy Makes It Easier

Guiding Hope is fully online, so there is no commute. An evening session can start a few minutes after you get home. Janell Goler is our primary evening and weekend clinician. Ashley Gutierrez also offers daytime, evening, and weekend telehealth. Ask about current openings during your free consultation.

03

Is It Confidential From My Employer?

Yes. Therapy is confidential, and your employer is not told you are in therapy. If you use insurance through work, your employer does not see your therapy records. If you ever need documentation for work, that only happens with your permission.

04

Tips for Making It Stick

Pick a slot you can keep most weeks, find a private spot, and protect the time like any other appointment. A few quiet minutes beforehand helps you shift out of work mode.

Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so it is worth confirming your benefits before your first session. If you are out of network, the practice can provide a superbill you may be able to submit for reimbursement.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I schedule therapy appointments after work?

Yes. Janell Goler is our primary evening and weekend clinician, and Ashley Gutierrez also offers evening and weekend telehealth. Online sessions mean there is no commute after work.

Do you take insurance?

Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies by plan, and superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.

What happens in the free consultation?

You share a little about what is bringing you in, ask any practical questions, and talk through which clinician may fit. It is a conversation, not a commitment.

What if I am in crisis right now?

Please call 911 if you are in immediate danger, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Guiding Hope offers scheduled outpatient therapy and is not an emergency service.

You Can Begin With a Conversation

A free consultation can help you ask questions, share what you are looking for, and consider whether one of our clinicians feels like a fit.
