01

What We Will Ask

A little about what is bringing you to therapy right now, what you hope might be different, whether you have been in therapy before, and practical details like your availability and whether you plan to use insurance. You share only what you are comfortable sharing.

02

What You Can Ask

Anything. How online sessions work. What a clinician's approach is like. What it costs. How long therapy usually takes. Whether we work with your specific concern. People often feel better simply hearing the answers.

03

How Matching Works

Dr. Ashley Carroll-Brown helps match people with the clinician whose focus, availability, and style fit their needs. If your needs fall outside what Guiding Hope offers, such as a higher level of care or specialized services, you will hear that honestly.

04

What Happens Next

If you decide to move forward, you will be scheduled for a 50-minute intake by secure video, and Delores Ortiz, who supports scheduling and onboarding, helps make sure your paperwork and first appointment are organized.

To begin, book a free consultation online at a time that suits you.

What happens in a free consultation?

You can share what is bringing you to therapy and ask about clinician fit, scheduling, and insurance. It is a free conversation with no commitment.

What happens in the free consultation?

You share a little about what is bringing you in, ask any practical questions, and talk through which clinician may fit. It is a conversation, not a commitment.

What if I am in crisis right now?

Please call 911 if you are in immediate danger, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Guiding Hope offers scheduled outpatient therapy and is not an emergency service.
