Where We Work
Being a teenager in Sugar Land today comes with pressures many parents never faced. Therapy can give your teen a place to sort through it.

Guiding Growth.
Restoring Hope.
01
Teens come to therapy for anxiety, low mood, school stress, friendship and family conflict, identity questions, and big transitions. Many feel more comfortable talking to someone who is not a parent, and online sessions let them join from somewhere familiar.
Sugar Land is a Fort Bend County city southwest of Houston along I-69, known for its diverse neighborhoods, strong schools, and families balancing demanding careers with busy households.
02
Odette Gonzalez, Janell Goler, and Ashley Gutierrez all work with teens. Ashley works with teens 13 and older and specializes in LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent young people. A parent or guardian helps get started, and your teen's clinician explains how privacy works.
03
Online sessions mean your teen in Sugar Land can join from home after school, without a parent leaving work early to drive them across town.
Every Guiding Hope clinician is licensed in Texas and meets clients by secure video anywhere in the state, so you choose a therapist for fit rather than for how close their office is.
04
Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so it is worth confirming your benefits before your first session. If you are out of network, the practice can provide a superbill you may be able to submit for reimbursement.
The first step is a free consultation. It is a short conversation where you can say what is going on, ask how online sessions work, and hear which clinician may be the best fit. There is no obligation, and you do not need to have the right words ready.

Common Questions
Yes. Every session at Guiding Hope is held by secure video, and all of our clinicians are licensed in Texas, so you can meet from anywhere in the state.
Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies by plan, and superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.
You share a little about what is bringing you in, ask any practical questions, and talk through which clinician may fit. It is a conversation, not a commitment.
Please call 911 if you are in immediate danger, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Guiding Hope offers scheduled outpatient therapy and is not an emergency service.
A free consultation can help you ask questions, share what you are looking for, and consider whether one of our clinicians feels like a fit.
