01
Session Fees
Self-pay is welcome for intake and ongoing sessions. Ask about current self-pay rates during your free consultation. All sessions are held by secure video.
The initial consultation is free.
02
Using Insurance
Guiding Hope is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so it is worth confirming your benefits before your first session. If you are out of network, the practice can provide a superbill you may be able to submit for reimbursement.
With insurance, what you pay per session depends on your copay, coinsurance, and deductible.
03
The Lower-Cost Option
Provisionally licensed clinicians have completed their graduate training and practice under the supervision of an experienced, board-approved supervisor. Provisionally licensed clinicians offer a lower-cost option. Ask about current self-pay rates during your free consultation.
04
Cancellations
Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations and missed sessions carry a fee.
If you are worried about cost, say so during your consultation. It is a normal part of figuring out what will work.
